Ordering Big Valley Beef

Beginning April 1 we will be accepting orders for 2010 Big Valley Beef. A $100 deposit will guarantee your place on my schedule for either a quarter or half beef. The down payment is applied to the final cost, which is due on your pick-up date.The price of the beef is based on the hang weight, so each share varies. A quarter beef averages about 100 pounds cut and wrapped frozen and costs between $700 and $800.
Our butcher is Chris of Thomson’s Custom Meats in Twisp. All ground meat is made up from whole beef of your steer. Arrangements must be made to pick up your meat at their shop. It will be hard frozen and able to travel to most locations within six hours in a cooler. We will provide our standard cut list, which you may modify to fit your family's needs. You will be asked to fill-out and return the cut list provided to Chris & Diana Thomson by the butcher date given.
